I want to start off by saying, I LOVE LISTS! I so much enjoyed the fact that the majority of the articles we read this week involved some type of numbered list; I don’t want it is about lists but they make things so much easier to understand! Moving on…
I love that ideas like saving things, editing things, and giving yourself deadlines are truly ways to help create engaging content for your consumers. It’s the little the aspects of creation like those that so many people either overlook or completely neglect. When we talk about areas that we are comfortable with and use words that are normal to us, our content is bound to be well…better! And better content will, in the end, create much more engaging content for readers/viewers to enjoy. By creating better, more engaging content, you are allowing your audience the chance to partake in a more enjoyable social media experience. Plus, better content (done at the right time on the right platform) will most likely equal gold for your social media reputation! However, in order to build a strong and loyal community of followers, you must allow time to be your friend. Brand loyalty is not something that is going to happen overnight, or even relatively quickly. You must prove yourself to your consumers/followers; prove that you and your brand have what it takes to go the distance; prove that, by engaging in your content, your audience will learn something new and will feel inspired to share that piece of content with their own audience. It all goes back to that “human factor” we talked about last week, without a personal connection to your audience; you will never truly reach your full potential as a social media guru. What is your take on engaging content? Are there specific buzzwords that grab your attention and entice you to read into a post further?
While posting and sharing personal and engaging content is undeniably crucial to your success in the social media world, so is knowing and understanding what kind platforms are out there for you to use. Be sure to keep a finger on the pulse of the comings and goings of social media networks, they are ever changing and evolving and you must stay “in the know” if you wish to be the best content sharer out there!
It’s a lot to remember and a lot to perfect…but social media doesn’t seem to be going anywhere any time soon, so remember to crawl before you walk and walk before you run.
Ta-ta for now!
